I didn't plan to add another bike to the quiver this summer but when the opportunity to buy this one came up I didn't hesitate too long. Bought from a co-worker because 'it really wasn't what he was looking for'.

I wasn't really shopping but was thinking Id like to find something a bit more sporty to take over for the Rockhopper as my 'get around' bike. This one isn't really a town commuter but I put some pavement friendly tires on it and have been using it for just that. With the carbon frame its not one I would want to shove into a bike rack full of walmart bikes outside the gym or lean against a concrete wall anywhere. There are no fender mounts on the frame or any rack mounts either. The geometry is not really set up for long touring, but holy crap is it fun to ride! And beautiful. Even if I just clean it up and hang it in the corner I think Ive gotten a good deal, but really, I don't see that happening any time soon.

The original Super Fly is credited as being one of the original Blaxploitation movies along with Sweet Sweetback's Baadassssss Song and Shaft. All of which are considered essential movies in the genre.
ReplyDeleteThis remake hits all the right notes and it updates it for today's audiences but it doesn't really bring anything new or noteworthy to the mix. It's stylish and honestly feels more like an extended music video in some parts. Now part of that could very well be because of the director and his background. But that's good for music videos and not for a feature length movie arrival putlockers .
. Especially edna. She specializes in desgining super suits for serious matters yet she is a babysitter. Excellent animation and great editing for five stars.
